Description The green eyed boy sat alone, watching the people walk through the agora. The bustling streets were packed with the rich, the poor and with the eager hands of hungry merchants just coming back from foreign lands to gather their share of profit. There was so much noise, so much heat, so many people but yet, so few coins to spend. But that wasn't such a concern to him at moment. He sat, watching, taking bites from his bread.

What the green eyed boy truly wanted was a for someone to fall in love with him, not for the loving reasons, but because there was something more in store for him; immortality. He wished to fill the other half of him with what his father was; he wanted to be a god. His father was quite promiscuous, to say the least, down on his stay on earth, and left the women in mind with a baby boy. Unfortunately this baby boy wasn't like the others; he had the strength of the gods, the endurance of a god, and then the not so desired traits that came from his father. His father was Dionysus; the god of wine, ecstasy and theatre, which are things most non-demigods frown upon.

The green eyed boy understood why, though. His father was associated with theatre only because of the reason of the wine drinking. When people become intoxicated, you see a different side of them, almost like they're acting, which they are. They're a different person, they take on a different role and most people didn't like that. It was like they wore a mask to hide the true them and take on a different form.

"Psst." The green eyed boy heard, he stopping his munching on the bread, looking around the market place. "Psst!" He heard once more, he moving looing behind him where the fountain which he was sitting on was. "Down here!" He looked down at his feet, seeing a goat. He rolled his eyes slightly.

"Yes, father?" He huffed, letting his arms fall limp.

"Are you still performing in the play tonight? I wanted to watch it, and I want you to sneak me in, whether you are or not." He said, putting his hooves on the rim of the fountain where the boy was sitting on. The boy groaned.

"Why do I have to sneak you in? Why don't you make a special appearance? I'm sure that'll throw people off, make them go wild."

"Hercules," The goat started, placing a hooved hand on his shoulder. "Do I look like an idiot to you or something?" Hercules cut his eyes, looking into the eyes of his father's current form.

"Well, you sure are making me look like one, I'm talking to a goat!" He cried slightly, pushing his father's hoof off him. He shook his head, agreeing.

"Well fine, I'll go, but I am coming to that play."

"Why do you want to see it so badly?"

"Because I haven't seen one with you in it in, and I do want to see my son in a play!"

Hercules got up, tossing the leftover piece of bread on the stoned ground, walking off. His father tried to keep up, his miniature legs going somewhat full speed down the busy streets behind his son. "Wait up, Hercules!" He cried, seeing everyone look down at the goat, they all looking around, puzzled.

"I don't understand you," He said, stopping where there was no more people to witness the conversation. "You want something more, I can tell."

"Me?" The goat said. "I am Dionysus, if I wanted something more, trust me, I would have gotten it instead of relying on a demigod like you. The only thing I want you to do is sneak me in the play, and I've never asked for anything like that before!"

"That's the thing," Hercules started, walking further from the agora, further into the dirt roads. "There's more to it, and plus, if you want something, why are you insulting me in the process of asking me?"

"I don't know." He said, looking around, seeing that no one was around the area. There was a sudden spark that engulfed the goat, the blast of smoke and then the clearing of it all, reveling his father, Dionysus's true form. He walked up to his son, placing a rough finger on his chest. "I just need to put you back in your place." He said, through his teeth. "You dare disrespect me by belittling me in the agora, knowing I couldn't transform? How low, Hercules, you are a mortal, a dirt one, in fact, just like the rest of them. You'll never find anyone who will love you and become a god." He said, gabbing his chest with his long finger. "I'll see you tonight, I will be there." He said as he through up the cloud of smoke once more, disappearing into the air.

Hercules rolled his eyes, watching the cloud evaporate into the thick air, walking further down the dirt road. He didn't know where he'd go, for he had no one where to go. He would snicker at his father's intelligence, though. He thought it was slightly amusing on how well he caught Hercules's game; trying to get him to give his true form up in front of many others. That would instantly make Hercules a god, making his father take a mortal form and stay on earth to become the god's and goddess's play toy like the rest were.

"Hello?" A feminine voice called out, Hercules stopping in the pathway. "Is anyone there?"

"Y-Yes." He stuttered slightly, pulling his figure together. He was thrown off slightly as to why someone from this area would be walking into the city. This area was the type of people who would rather make their products than buy, and only come into the agora for certain specialty items.

"Can.. Can you walk me to the city?" She asked, she coming into view for Hercules. He could see her eyes, and how large and timid they were. They were a (Light/Dark) (EyeColor), and her hair was a rich (HairColor), and it was pulled up tightly and placed upon her head. She was wearing the color red, which only intensified her features. "My father has fallen ill..." She said, looking down at the earth. " And I have no one to walk me in, and I don't want to look poor." She went on, but Hercules hushed her slightly, smiling.

"It's ok, I understand. Where are you going to in the city?" He asked, walking over to her, then turning around to walk back into the city.

"I'm going to see a play." She smirked. Hercules glow returned to him, she starting to become brighter to him. " I adore theatre, I wish to one day become a thespian myself, but it will cost too much, and I can't remember things very well."

"Well, you can always practice."

"How?"

"Start off by getting smaller parts, then continue to build up each time you enter into a play." Hercules smiled. "Hello, I'm Hercules, and who are you?" He asked.

"(Name)." She smiled slightly, looking up at him. "I like that name; Hercules." She sung. He chuckled.
~
He gripped his sword tightly as he peeked his head out, watching everyone fill in the seats. He had made an agreement with (Name) to walk her home as well, but he had to explain to her that it'd be a little after the play had wrapped up. She didn't ask why, though, but nodded her head and agreed.

He placed the leather mask over his face, looking out of the two slits that were cut in, waiting for the curtain to rise above to the sky. He didn't enjoy theatre as much as she. He was natural a two face, so he did this for quick money on the side. He heard the prolong being read, and knew that he'd have at least five more minutes in till the course started to sing their parts. Then he'd be out of the stage's behind and out front with the rest.

"Rise the curtains!" He heard a voice cry as they rose, allowing everyone to see Hercules in his attire. He started his lines. Everyone listened in closely, their eyebrows raised to hear his words, everyone including (Name), who sat in the middle of the seating arrangement.

But over to the side on the ground sat a goat with a dove on it's back, they seeming to watch the play as well. The dove would peck at the goats back, then, when the goat had a protest, would kick its hind legs out, trying to get the dove off its back. The dove mocked the goat, as it would flutter its wigs and fly above the goat, twirling in a circle to only continue the same thing once more.

"Aphrodite, stop it now!" He cried, but the dove laughed.

"Shush, Dionysus, don't bring us anymore unwanted attention!" She replied, landing softly back on the white fur. He rolled his eyes.

"Then stop pecking me! Can't you see I'm trying to watch Hercules's play!?" She sighed.

"As if, you're here to do something." She pointed out.

"What makes you say that?" He questioned, but she pecked the back of his head. "Stop that!"

"You're Dionysus, that's my reasoning behind that." He let out a gentle chuckle. "You're here to do something. What it is, I don't know, but you're very suspicious."

(Name)'s eyes were wide, watching as He continued his act, and my, did she love it. She fell in love with the character; his stance was heroic and well structured. His personality was slightly arrogant, cocky, and seemed to be a little bit of a two face, but she loved it. She only could guess who was under that brown leathered mask, and it ate her up inside. She was falling in love with this character, and all she wanted was Bion, the fake character that some play writer had imagined in his mind.

"What an awful thing to accuse me of!" He said, walking them to a more private area. "Why would you make such rash accusations against me?"

"I saw you talking to Apollo, you think I'm an idiot?"

"I was having a friendly conversation with him, that is all, why, are you jealous?" He rose his eyebrow, looking over at her with a curve of the lip.

"I am the goddess of beauty and love, what makes you think I'd love you, or even find beauty in you?" He replied, he cringing slightly. " I know if you talk to Apollo a certain way, he'd give you a peek at the future, and I don't want you to screw anything up for anyone."

"Now, why would I do that?" Dionysus asked, but she didn't answer, only sat contently on the back of his current form.
~
"Hercules?" She called out, looking around the empty stands, waiting for him to reappear. She walked onto the stage.

"(Name)," He called out, the mask still on. "Back here!" He waved his arm, she following the voice. When she came behind the stage, she looked around and saw Bion. "Oh my! Bion! I absolutely adore you! I really enjoyed you, yes, yes I did." She went on, blushing a deep red. "I wish more guys were like you, in fact. Can you, I don't know, maybe take off that mask so I could see what you look like?" She asked. He didn't know how to respond. "It's ok," She started, looking slightly down due to his hesitant behavior. "I understand."

"No, no." He started, the voice sounding familiar to her. "I'll do it." He said, taking off the mask, reveling who he was; Hercules. She gasped slightly, he blushed.

"Really? Hercules? I would have never guessed you'd be an actor!" She cried, pulling him in a hug. He blushed. "Are you like Bion?" He paused.

In fact, he hated Bion's personality; he hated everything about Bion. The reason he picked Bion was because it was the last character from the list that paid a good amount. Even though it was a lead, many people didn't want to go after that part, considering they didn't have a personality to the character. Bion was, in fact, like Hercules's father. Which is another reason as to why he picked it; to remind himself who he could possibly become, and who he never wants to be like.

But then he remembered how much (Name) loved him, and how much she adored him and really enjoyed his character for whatever reason that could be. She was blushing when she met 'him'. And Hercules was falling for (Name), for whatever reason he had.

He bit the bullet.

"Well, I guess you could say." He said, looking over in the distance, pushing her off him slightly. She smiled. "Why do you need to know?"

"Oh, well I just wanted to know if that's why you went for that character." (Name) looked up at him, wrapping her arms around him in a tight hug.

There he saw a dove flutter its wings, landing close to her and Hercules, the dove looking up at them. Then came a goat behind it. He swallowed heavily. A spark and a cloud of smoke and then the two were reveled. Then, Aphrodite waved her hand over by (Name), putting her to sleep, falling into Hercules's arms.

"Hercules!" The women spoke, her long, blonde hair flowing behind her. "Someone has fallen in love with you!"

Hercules then started to glow a golden color, his eyes shining a greenish tint as he was brought up into the night's air, (Name) still in his hands as she pushed him over to a large mountain. His mouth was ajar as he watched the earth beneath him, seeing the lights and the people scattering under his feet, all still in the agora.

"You can now live here with all of us." She said, but she looked down at (Name) who was in his arms. She frowned. "N-N0... Hercules, it's not a good idea to fall in love with mortals." She hesitated.

"And why not? Why can't you make her a goddess?" He asked, his slight anger taking a hold of him.

"It doesn't work that way, idiot!" His father commented, trying to take (Name) away from his grip. But Hercules twisted his body, making him avoid her touch. "You can't just turn mortals into such high things!" He laughed. "They can't handle it."

"Mortals aren't that bad..." Hercules added.

"Says you, the demigod." His father threw back. He rolled his eyes.

"That's why you slept with one." He rolled his eyes.

"Anyway," Aphrodite added. "You need to choose, Hercules. You can come with us, live forever, dine well forever, have power forever and so forth or live there in Athens, where you'll die at some point, dine moderately, and have little to no power all while having a lover who loves another side of you. Doesn't sound great, does it?"

"It's more than that!" He said through tears. "I mean it, she's... She's doesn't love Bion, she also loves Hercules, I know she does." Hercules fought back, the two both giving him hard looks.

"I enjoy watching people who are in love, but that's a false love, and you know it." Aphrodite said, shaking her head. "I take it you rather stay on earth, correct?" He nodded his head. "So be it."

They were both gently placed on the dirt of the fields, she still wrapped his arms. She began to rustle, her (EyeColor) eyes shining open. He smiled down at her, knowing he made the right choice. But he caught himself; he gave her a bit of a harsh glare, and began to walk further. He kept an eye on her, seeing her fall back to sleep.

He looked forward once more, his sandals padding into the dirt. His eyes watered, he feeling a tad bit defeated.
