what exactly is homestuck? Is it an actual book? Or a story on DA? I've heard that it's popular but I don't know what it's about.

It's a MS paint adventure. it around 6,000 pages long. But it is really good.

I have seen so much homestuck things on deviantart and i like the pictures but what is it actually about? I tried playing it and it seems boring...

I think you made your first mistake by trying to 'play' it. You don't! It's a webcomic disguised as a game. And while it seems slow at first, it DOES pick up and you'll be rewarded for your tenacity by one of the most rewarding stories ever.

I just started reading Homestuck since I wasn't able to ignore it anymore (everyone seems to love it) and I thought it could be something i enjoy. At first I thought 'what. this is so boring'. But now I'm WAY into it, and I love it. xD
