Indeed, there was so few good cats in the Redwall series... I suppose it's because the heroes were mice, and history is written by the winners...

Plus there are several other cat characters who aren't evil (The Aristocats, the black cat from "Bolt" whose name I can't remember).Β

Gingivere wasn't evil but his sister was quite the cruel one, he even helped young Matthias on his his quest in Redwall. Such a great series of books!
You should give Gingivere a draw to balance out her evil.
