but, still, everyone who has basic anatomy and normal hair has shiny hair. Like, just because they don't draw it doesn't mean it isn't there. It's most likely because they don't even add shadows into their art (the other two) and they are beginning animators which trust me, drawing in those things are a pain, so yeah. Scootaloo simply if much better and can keep things like hair shine and shadows nice and not shaking.

It isn't common to forget to add shine to hair every time you draw, but I could ask one of the artists that were drawn if they do forget to draw the hair shine.

Reply I mean some styles look like shit when it comes to hair shine (trust me I have a few styles I use where hair shine is a total nope) and their style is sometimes so icon that adding or changing things is impossible without angering their fan base (sleepykinq is a prime example). And a little secret to adding hair shine, brighten the hair colour a little, add another layer, make the new layer overlay. Draw with white. Bam. It's not that hard, and the overlay layer is literally my own preference so-- Just don't use white in the beginningΒ
