As I said, I talked about some of the stuff relevant to this page previously, and thus this comment shan't be too long. Perhaps writing a comment at 11 at night on only 4 hours sleep last night is not the best idea I've had, but I need to get through these comments and talk about everything on my mind before I forget them.
Damn, looks like Sans woke up on the wrong side of the dump, he's just digging at Undyne, isn't he? I wonder why he's behaving like that, so aggressively towards her. Undyne also lost her cool pretty quickly - I sense a great deal of tension between these two and I highly doubt they will end up working it out based on how they behave towards each other later on.Β
I kindΒ of theorise that no matter how much LV a human or monster has, it's impossible to do damage to someone you care about - similarly it only takes intent to kill someoneΒ and doesn't rely solely upon the LV of either party. LV only makes it easier to have intent towards a person, I assume that's how the whole system works.Β
Hmmm looking back at the previous Lost page (number Β 8) with the panel second from the bottom, Undyne seems to be quite surprised, is that because she assumed Papyrus would never attack Sans due to the whole 'will attack anyone who attacks Sans' thing? I mean would it not be reasonable for her to go in there assuming Sans had managed to convince Papyrus to attack? I mean she says herself, "Where's that slimy brother of yours, did he put you up to this?" implying Sans has some form of 'control' over Papyrus' actions.Β
I hope it all makes sense, as I said I'm exhausted and this may just be gibberish in the morning - but I'll explain anything that's confusing.Β

Yes, Sans is defensive because he doesn't want Papyrus to be like everyone else in Underfell (how ironic that he's the cause of him doing exactly that) and he's trying to show that he doesn't have to hurt anyone, but obviously it doesn't work. Undyne's had to fight off any trouble they get, just throwing them away with magic wont keep other monsters away. There's basically tension because they both want what they think is best for Papyrus, and both their ideas are clashing obviously Undyne's got the right idea.

Yes, she's certain it's Sans' fault that Papyrus turns out the way he does and is pretty pissed at him for it. She thinks pretty low of him (hahaha-) to the point that instead of assuming that Papyrus willingly attacked everyone in snowdin- is that Sans convinced him to do it.

Hmm yes, Sans is trying to protect the smol cinnamon roll, but inevitably ends up ruining him none the less (perhaps even in a worse way than the inhospitable Underground could have). Yes, it's obvious that Undyne does treasure Papyrus and wants to make sure he's kept safe, even if that does mean sacrificing some of his innocence - it was bound to happen at one point or another anyway - might as well prepare him a little beforehand.Β
Good to know that I have a good general idea of how all this LV and intent stuff works (I was gonna do something evil with that in DaemonfellΒ (because I'm evil >8D))
