Swapfell/FellswapOn tumblr about a year ago, there was a decision made to change Swapfell into Fellswap, this didn't go as planned. I rambled about this a bit on tumblr (Links here and here for anyone that wants to read) and then I stewed over it while streaming:
So I still wasnβt sure if I should ramble about how uncool the whole change was or make something for it- but then I realized itβd be WAY more productive to do this, show everyone the choices out there.
Because in the end, everything is up to artists to draw which one they want, and for people to headcanon which oneβs they like. No one can force people to change, and try not to expect anyone to.
SO. IβM COLLECTING A LIST OF BLOGS/GROUPS FOR THE DIFFERENT VARIETIES OF SWAPFELL AND FELLSWAP.
This means
On tumblr the common thing to say (That's terribly incorrect I might add) was that Swapfell was Swap that became Fell, and that FellSwap was Fell that was Swapped. Obviously with most designs/ideas, this doesn't hold true and just makes it more confusing.
It's usually up to the artist which one they show as Swapfell or Fellswap, and unfortunately it's very mixed, so while this is Swapfell on my page, a slightly edited one on another could be Fellswap.
On the upside, there's no mixing up on my page xD, I'll never draw Fellswap so it's always Swapfell here.
