Righty oh, now that I can see it close up I can see that rather glitchy figure better. Seems pretty ominous to me, although, as it's crying I'm going to assume it's not aggressive. . . But then why is it crying? What exactly can upset whatever this strange creature is? Could this thing be some sort of precursor to things to come? Alternatively, is it possibly one of the other experiments or test subjects from past trials? I'm assuming it is an anomaly of some description based on its appearance alone, and to be honest it is reminding me of the static all around the timeline thanks to a certain other anomaly, and although that doesn't happen until later, it did effect the entire timeline, so I think it could possibly have something to do with that

This void creature in particular is purely around for super vague hinting that I've hinted at super vaguely in a previous page but I'll never clarify because it's fun lol

INTERESTING THING ABOUT THAT STATIC NOW YOU SAY THAT-
The first page of the "His Past" comic did state that when Sans was born, he screamed out in fear, implying this end has been coming either ever since he was born, or his being born was the trigger for it to start... to be fair I haven't figured that out lol, but that sorta detail doesn't really matter because it doesn't change any point of the story ANYWAY.
The static on the timeline has a heavy influence on everything, it's the reason that monsters were gradually born with higher than average determination, in preparation to.. well.. try and stop it. The reason the void creature is crying is somewhat related to the whole thing as well. I'm not sure if I'll ever clear up why though xD I like some bits of mystery to stick around~

I gather whatever, or whoever, the void creature is, they obviously have some sort of connection with Sans. As you said, the creature is following Sans around, trying to be as close to him as possible, practically trying to envelop him within it, which is another thing I'm curious about. I assume you aren't going to say too much more on it, but there could be a couple reasons it wants to keep Sans close that I can think of.Β
Wait a second. . . I recall that when the 'Goner Kid' anomaly touched the timeline it all turned red, now is that just a sign that the timeline has been corrupted, or could the red mean something else. . .Β
Also, I have had an idea, regarding Sans and his determination, but I'm not sure I should post it here in the comments, just in case it contains actual spoilers. . .

Oh definitely, that void creature is very important to Sans and Papyrus- I wouldn't be surprised if you could guess it, you're pretty damn good at this

*ERHEM* Despite the joke, that's pretty much what was happening, everything falling into place for what was supposed to happen. Goner Kid has the same motive/knowledge as Sans does when he's older when they pressed that box/flag/trigger, they just have no emotional attachments so they had no reason to be upset about what they were doing/what's happening. If anything, they're probably so happy because they get to help the doctor one last time.

I have a sneaky suspicion of what the void creature is; according to a few other things I have noticed, but I digress, I shall not pry too far into it.
Oh my gosh there are more puns- And that is a really interesting fact about Goner Kid, I assumed that he/she/it/they knew something about the timelines, which is why they triggered it, but I wasn't quite sure how thorough their knowledge was of it.Β

Well it's kind of hard to explain, but it's about a girl named Fran who was sent to a mental institution after her parents are murdered. When she gets there she is given this drug that let's her see creepy and disturbing imagery. She soon decides to leave and find her cat, Mr. Midnight. Can't tell you anymore without giving away twists.
