I am enjoying the comic so far but there are a few issues I have with it.Β Stuff that I feel are left out.Β As far as I can tell.Β From what you say this is based on.Β There was no story you are reworking into a comic.Β So I take it you are are coming up with the story to fill in were there is none.Β Which is cool if true.Β It's looking very interesting.Β Just that, there seems to be some missing context.
I get Toriel wants to protect Chara but nothing outside the little convo explains anything of it.Β It just felt so sudden.Β But it could work if more is filled in later.Β That feels really strange is how everyone seems to be working together and not attacking each other.Β Instead they are hunting the humans.Β Did they all suddenly call a truce from killing each other?Β Cause unless I missed something.Β I got the feeling this was just like the Hunger Games series and only one gets out.Β I can understand if they did all agree to kill the humans first then finish each other off after, but we don't get to see when that happened.Β It just feels like it goes from Fight to ok were all friends now no reason to go into it.
Again don't get me wrong.Β I am enjoying this, even if it seems a little lost at part.Β I love the idea of this and want to see more, but I hope your not rushing it.Β Cause your inspiration source leaves a lot of questions as to how and what.Β Leaving a lot of questions.Β Unless there is a huge chunk of info I am missing out on.
Anyway, thanks for sharing this.Β Can't wait to see more.Β

Yes, I only gave the idea a glance over when I first started the comic, and only really looked into what happened in the other days when I got to page uhh.. 8 maybe? ANYWAY.
I'm making up a story to fill in where there isn't one, and some context is missing on purpose- although I might've missed some because I forgot to add it, hopefully it'll get explained eventually!
Toriel is purposely being vague because they're being watched, that's all she can say unfortunately. All the monsters understand that they could have a camera on them without an idea of when exactly they're being watched or listened to, or even recorded. Some of them don't understand the extent of that. The shopkeepers and a few side characters wont consider this, so their choices of words when they do speak wont be held back, not that they know anything anyway-.
There's technically 3 groups within the monsters right now, those that want to help the Queen (but she doesn't want to do what they want her to, just like Asgore in the original UT game) and the others that want to help the King who wants to do the same thing but wants someone else to do it (Just like Toriel in UT xD). The last group are the ones that are mixed in and don't really know what's going on, the shopkeepers, kids, anyone that isn't the dog unit and Undyne's group that were talking together before they split up (Shopkeepers/others are going to stick with whoever gives them the best chance of survival and no real interest in loyalties)
I plan on explaining their sudden alliances later, but back when Undyne and Alphys were discussing that the game was definitely rigged, it is. The humans planned to remove certain forces from the monsters, which is also why the King and Queen were selected.
All good! I enjoy questions and things like this! It helps me fill in any plot holes I might have missed, or help refine the story! This comic's on hold until I can spare the time to work on it, but I look forward to getting it done eventually
