Oh, lovely frame! I like it how rain can make such intense textures that render so greatly on b/w film.

yeah. wonder what it would have looked like in color though...
lately most of the time I see a shot in b/w I'm like, god I wished it would have been color. and the opposite is also true (i know I can convert color in b/w, but this is a process I reserve for digital shots... i hate doing that with film)

Sometimes, but not very often, I print b/w from colourfilm. It's a tough choice between b/w and colour. Although I guess b/w works most of the time and colour only on particular shots. I find shooting the latter harder actually. It's more about colourpalets than patterns or lines then, and I'm trained on those last I guess

yeah I agree. Lately I got complex shots with unintersting colors shot in color, and shots that would have been nice with soft monochromatic colors in b/w (not that it's that bad, but i've got this urge for colors lately.. dunno why. like pregnant women craving for weird food...)
her boots were pretty boring gray or somthing like that. I think this shot is best in b/w. I was just curious

Je l'aime bien celle là, c'est sur que ça fait un peu cliché avec les gouttes de pluie dans un flaque d'eau, mais les bottes et le contraste de textures avec l'asphalte fait que c'est très "vrai" et très intéressant comme photo

bon pas le genre de trucs que j'imprimerais sur un mur, mais quand même...
d'ailleurs, j'ai envie de me faire sortir une photo en genre... 7 pied par 4 pied ou qqch comme ça pour mettre dans ma chambre ou dnas le couloir, et j'me disais que ta photo de bateau serait pt un bon candidats.. enfin. à suivre!
