I actually never picked piplup as my starter in Diamond or Platinum... for Diamond I picked Chimchar and for Platinum I picked Turtwig =3 and both have served me well.This papercraft was available on pokemon.com to promote the pokemon ranch channel for the Wii.
this was really easy to make, too!

Very cute! I am sad Pikachu is the only one you can get from the Japanese site because the English site redirects you to pokemon.com no matter what you do which is not fair to many who are late and want to do them

I get my templates from nintendopapercraft.blogspot.com and paperkraft.blogspot.com .
Some people on DeviantArt have made templates as well!
Also, simple googling "______ papercraft" would get you some templates.
