Maya looks normal. Before joining the Belous Pirate team, she had medium-length hair. And then she cut them off. Maya decided that a little change in their appearance, it is thus to start a new life.

About the Character
Personality:
Maya's personality is very strange. She's a little secretive, unsociable, sometimes she can be rude. All these qualities came from her childhood. She hadn't had much of a childhood.

Her parents were killed when she was only 10 years old. So the rest of the time she had to survive on her own.

Because of all these events, she received a serious mental illness. But in childhood disease not so strongly expressed, as after 17 years. So at the age of 17, she quit her job in a cafe and opened her shop with medicines.

After all, Maya was fond of medicine and really wanted to become a doctor to help good people, as well as to help herself get rid of mental illness.

Maya makes medicines by mixing different medicines and got completely different drugs that help a lot more than simple tablet.

Maya also made her own pills. Because a simple pill from her illness did not help. So she took it on herself. All her pills were just herself. And thanks to this, they helped her at least for a few hours to get rid of panic attacks and delirium.

Reputation:
Maya first some people even feared and tried circumvent the side. After all, she was very unfriendly, and not really even wanted to make friends with the pirates.

But then when she realized, that they not want do it nothing bad, then tried become with them. But because she said a lot of nasty things to them and they did not really want to communicate with her.

After a while, Maya began to establish relations with them. With already started a friendly chat – Thatch. Then she became more confident. She begged everyone's forgiveness and said she would not do it again and would continue to try to control herself.

Love Interest:
Marco «The Phoenix» (loves him and is afraid of just simply losing)

Marco was prejudiced against Maya at first. And also very cautiously, so as not knew, that she can do him or his team.

But when Marco saw the girl talking quietly to Thatch, he decided to ask his friend about her. The told him , that Maya is sick and it needs drugs. So Thatch decided to combine business with pleasure and make her a nurse. Marco was against it at first. He didn't quite trust Maya yet.

But when team became poorly , then Maya very quickly and in a timely reacted on what happened. After that Marco decided still okay to talk to her and get to know her a little more.

So he learned, that girl well-read and not on their will then told so much threats them.

After this conversation, Maya and Marco began to communicate often. Maya asked the man for advice about medicine or books. And when Marco found out that the girl is quite capable , and even makes itself pills. He had offered her the position of head nurse on the ship.

Edward Newgate "Whitebeard" - she thinks he's a great man.
Edward Newgate had heard of Maya when she first came aboard. I also heard what she was doing when she regained consciousness.

Maya was very ashamed of all these actions and words in front of him. Therefore, she always comes to him in the morning and checks the indicators on his machines and makes notes.

Edward Newgate believes Maya smart girl, and so same very decisive. After all, not everyone to go to the other end of the ocean just to get the knowledge and realize his dream.

Marco «The Phoenix» - loves him , though, and sometimes resents it when it is very busy.

Marco was almost the last member of the team that decided to talk to Maya.

Maya tries never to distract when Marco is working. But when Marco goes with his head in the work, she does not like it very much. And so she tries to get him out of his cabin/infirmary to walk with him or just sit on the deck.

Sometimes Marco doesn't like the way Maia takes care of him. He is still a grown man and he can decide when to rest and when to work. From-for what they constantly have scandals on this soil. The team is used to it.

Maya understands all of this, but nothing do with him not can. When they both cool down , Maya apologizes to Marco and says that she will try not to bother him so much with her concern.

Portgas D. Ace - a good friend who helped her find her sister.

Ace is 8 years younger than Maya. So Maya likes to poke him that she's older and needs to be listened to. But then they laugh together and continue to communicate further.

Ace likes to make fun of Maya, like Maya herself.

They look like teenagers who laugh at every joke.

Jozu - good friend, from whom she can ask for advice and just talk heart to heart.

Jozu almost did not react to Maya. He sought to think and offer what any rational way to.

After Maya became part of the room , Jozu began to treat her as a companion. Maya herself always likes to talk to him and ask for advice when she does not know what to do.

Thatch - very good friend and close person.

Thatch was the first to speak to Maya when She first got on the ship. After they met, Thatch tried to cheer her up and help her adapt to the ship. He was also the one who introduced her to the rest of the team.

Thatch loves to indulge Maya different delicious desserts.

Maya took death very hard of Thatch.

Vista – a good friend who will advise good tea

Maya also likes to communicate with Vista. He often invites her to drink tea with him. And Maya never refuse, because over a Cup of tea, he tells so many interesting stories. That Maya would simply listen to his stories and sit there for hours if no one called her name.

Zigvard hunted animals , when I came across Fredericka. She was writing in her notebook. Zigvard didn't like being interrupted by a woman. He tried to drive her away , but Fredericka did not give herself in offense and rebuffed the man.
At that moment Zigvard was interested in Frederick.

A year later they were married. And about 10 months later, they had Maya.
As Frederica said:
