This was traditionally done in colored pencil.
But when I do digital, I use Paint Tool SAI!

Awww, they are perfect in your style, so adorable <3
What didn't you like about the movie? I thought the "Is Kristoff Sami?" thing was pretty disappointing but other than that I loved it.

THANK YOU. <3
Yeahhh that is bad of Disney I have to admit. D:
Omg really it's just
the main thing was Hans
I knew he was gonna be an antagonist but I didn't realize how stereotypically bad they would make him, I thought there would be more of a slow turning on Anna or there'd just be... more to it than that. D: I liked him and I didn't want to him to be all crazy and evil. Also the conflict felt Hans felt rather forced and rushed. The pacing felt off? We could've seen way more of Elsa actually.
Argh. I had SUCH mixed feelings coming out of the theater omfg.
Because I really enjoyed it and I liked it a lot, but I didn't love it and I wanted to love it. D;

You're welcome <3
Honestly, I had no idea about Hans. I knew nothing about the plot before seeing the movie and so my boyfriend and I spent the first hour going "awww, poor Hans, he's going to get dumped". Coming from that angle, Hans' character felt really refreshing and uniqueΒ :)
It would've been lovely to have had more of Elsa though, her character development did feel a bit rushed.

Haha yeah I knew... I just... cry I wanted so much more from Hans IDK but I can see how you would be definitely surprised if you didn't know anything. I also feel they should've given more signs that he might be bad?? Like little things you could pick up on, and there didn't seem to be much, except for the fact he'd re-positioned the guys arrow to hit the chandelier and still making himself look like a ~hero~.
Yeah. D: Elsa is so interesting and there actually was too much Anna (I love her though) and not enough Elsa. Ahh the Anna/Elsa relationship SO MANY FEELINGS. I'm so happy they did the true love thing with the sisters at the end. Good job, Disney.
I really want the concept art book. I own maybe 6 concept art books?? And this book is probably one of the most gorgeous.

Yes, yes, sisterly love is the best sort of true love I was so happy. It's also awesome that the act of true love was something Anna had to do, rather than something that was done to her (like a kiss).
I think the reason Hans' development doesn't bother me is because I am too busy being delighted by all the Anna/Elsa to care about anything else.
Concept art books are the best, I want it tooΒ :D

Hahaha, I'm sure someone will one day write a revisionist fanfic that will make you feel betterΒ :)
(Also, I just finished called The School For Good and Evil, which reminded me a lot of Frozen in that it inverted the "true love" fairy tale cliche to focus on friendship between two girls, and it also looked at how easy it is for someone to appear to be evil (like Elsa) when they're really just trying to do their best. And then, when the final villain was revealed it was done in a much more subtle, much more interesting way than Frozen. Really really good book, I finished it last night and I am still reeling. I think you would like it!)
