how do you scan your watercolor artworks they look like they were done in your sai or photoshop

Well, we have a Canon printer (I guess model MX870) and I scan it at 600dpi and the setting "color photo". Then I upload it on photoshop and simply adjust the "levels" to make the midtones darker, basically. I'm guess this means the scans don't look too bad lol?

think you could make a tutorial? I bet there are other people using Canon printer on that model

She looks gorgeous! I love the way the paint fades out at the edges. :3 Her hair looks so shiny too.
