Description More masking fluid practice!! This was fun. I love painting bricks, actually. :o Both this and the last photo reference I used were on paintmyphoto: paintmyphoto.ning.com/photo/wi… Changed the lighting quite a bit.

I'll probably incorporate a good amount of buildings into my next watercolor... it's always a struggle to find the perfect photo to go off of.

Watercolor, pencil.

Yeah like

Isn't breaking into song over everything just the best?Β

"I'm bruuuuuuuuuushing my teeeeeeeeeeeth,

this tooooooothpaste is sweeeeeeeet

I fucking hate miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiint

Now rinse and repeeeeeeaaaaaaaat"

and then my three foot long mane blows gently back in the breeze and I bat my eyelashes and a hummingbird lands on my shoulder and nuzzles me and the world is just generally nice.

YES it's so beautiful

everyone loves me too, and people can't help but stare as I waltz down the street and I'm practically sparkling
and I break out into song again downtown
and people start singing after me

A beautiful and very appealing painting. I love the way you varied the colors of the individual bricks, and the way you worked the forest behind the house by giving just enough detail, without overdoing it.

omfg sjguajdglkjdgl I PROMISE IT'S NOT THAT HARD TO PAINT BRICKS, JUST A BIT TIME CONSUMING CAUSE YOU HAVE TO MAKE A BUNCH OF TINY RECTANGLES
I'm glad you think they look real though :'DDD

I suppose this is the only time I've ever painted a lot of bricks:
maybelletea.deviantart.com/art…
gonna do it again sooon
