Third commission from this slot set!

This is another one of those "everything about this is right up my alley but I am TERRIFIED to attempt this" commissions. There was a LOT going on here and I was worried it would turn into a jumbled mess, but I'm really happy with the end result.

This is the commissioner's D&D character, based on orchid colour schemes. Unfortunately, my scanner ate the colours like I eat candy, so even though this is after some MAJOR colour correction in GIMP, it's still missing a lot of the original's brilliance (her skin is SO PINK in person). C'est la vie.

Gold filigree is officially on the perma-ban list for commissions. For the amount of time it takes I would have to charge a fortune, but I wouldn't feel comfortable charging a fortune for it with my skill level and how little of the picture would actually be the filigree. I might be able to bring myself to do it again for a personal piece, but not for paid work.

Done with Copics on Strathmore marker paper.
