now she has to go all the way back to the market and buy dog foodokay, so the reason why impa is doing the groceries is because she is losing her job as zelda's protector. that is because ever since link started staying with zelda, zelda has been trusting link a little more. impa doesnt know if that's a good thing or a bad thing...
well, on the good side, link and zelda give impa the puppy a coule years later and she trains it to be something simalar to kakashi's ninja hounds.
