That sounds like a great idea! You can paint the clay after baking it too. I've seen acrylics used, not sure if you could do your usual fine liner art? Maybe bake a little bit of clay and experiment? Usually it's glazed after painting though.

I'm starting to think of a Mexican Day of the Dead skull/doll sort of thing now - talk about changing my mind. I haven't got any white though, so I would have to make it colorful.

Always a lady's prerogative to change her mind. I find the white leaves itself on your fingers more than the other colours and don't like working with it terribly much. I've learned to mix it with translucent clay and/or pearlescent clay so it has a better feel, but for a white skull (if ever you do one) you'd want the flat 'dry-looking' colour.
A colourful one sounds more you scene though

I made a 5 piece Tetris necklace (that can be made into 2 different sized squares) for my eldest grandson for Easter. I hope he likes it. I can't for the life of me think what to make the youngest grandson, though I have matching necklaces and earrings with little iced donuts for my 2 granddaughters. Girls are sooo much easier to have ideas for
