Oh, that sounds wonderful, though I haven't heard it. I had an Australian teacher in primary school in England and she taught us a 'round' song named 'Kookaburra Sits in the Old Gum Tree'. I love that song still. We thought she was crazy because she would shut the window blinds on a hot day. Now I've lived in Australia I understand completely LOL
Ha ha - just YouTube searched and it's the same song. It's so nice sung in 3 pieces as a round!

Beautiful photograph!! There are kookaburras in the nature preserve up the street from where I live, & they start their characteristic laughing at dawn - I love it!!

Oh I love to hear them! I once heard that if you hear kookaburras laughing you will have luck. I used to hear them many mornings in our old house, but rarely from here. However, this house has brought us more luck LOL
