Description The *real* Perth is in Scotland.  I live in (perhaps) the second biggest one, which is in Western Australia.  But on the little island of Tasmania, off the bottom right of Australia is a tiny village, also named Perth.  We found this amazing sight down one of the side streets and I immediately fell in love!

Buy my art as Cards or Prints I can no longer thank everyone for Faves individually, but I am very grateful

Plant A Tree For You And MeHello to all my dear friends, at this start of hoping a beautiful Summer to all of us!
Not a long time ago I received a very beautiful letter from my dear friend Andorada
:iconandorada: and I read her diary with pleasure.
I found it there such a beautiful idea  and it seems to me wonderful to try to plant a tree or a flower for someone you love.
All of us love someone who maybe is not longer with us or somebody who maybe is very far away ...
When I  say this,  I also think about the strong friendships that have been created in this wonderful space called dA. I know that many of us would like to meet in real life and give a real hug to each other with  love, but most of the time this is not possible and then this idea of Andorra is really special.
We always dedicate each other beautiful pictures and words, what if we will try to plant a little life in a

Nothing like a beautiful cottage garden...so, soooo pretty! I wish I could get my garden to look like this, but alas, I have the worst luck with plants.  Wayne says it helps to water them...who knew? lol

Oh me too, I'd be heaven with something like that!  But yes - we're allowed to use the auto retic twice a week and any other watering has to be by standing there with a hose - who's got time (or memory!) for that?

lol I actually find standing and watering with a hose quite relaxing...but yes, finding the time for it is nearly impossible!  Wayne usually does it when he gets home from work while I'm getting dinner ready/feeding animals/doing laundry/cleaning house...I'd like to switch roles for a night or two!

I'm very spoiled.  David feeds the dog 2 meals a day, I do the third.  David feeds us breakfast (on the rare occasions we have any) and our main meal lunch - I do the other 1 for me during the evening.  He also does all our clothes washing.  I do the rest inside and all the light work outside.  He avoids the heavy work outside as long as possible but then does the whole lot I've asked for occasionally.
