I really wouldn't mind if this happened in the comics. Miss Martian is my favorite girl on the team currently. She's got that cute, naive appeal about her that made me like Starfire in the Teen Titans cartoon.

He was for a while. Turns out it was an after-effect of brainwashing. His first appearance in the DC comics is in an illegal underground fighting ring where teenage super heroes have been drugged up and forced to fight eachother. Even after being rescued by the TeenTitans and living with them, he was still not quite himself... insulting the male members of the team and staring at the girls.
He's back to being a nice and goofy guy as of the last 3 issues.
