Description Yay! It's done on time as predicted!

As many of us have experienced, my reference photo was a bit dark and blurry. There were moments of inertia where I was stumped as to how to start certain parts of the drawing, such as Marilyn's laced bodice, Lauren's corsage and Bogart's hands, just to name a few. I had to psych myself up just to put pencil to paper and start scribble something. It took a while to finish, but I enjoyed the process very much.

My last drawing, 7 Year Itch, was a duo. This drawing is a trio. I think I am going to make my life easier next time by choosing a single-subject for the next drawing.

By the way, I had a lot of fun thinking of a potential title for the drawing. These are a few of them I thought of:
- The Hollywood Trinity
- The Good, The Bad and The bombshell
- The Look of Love
- MΓ©nage Γ  Trois ()
Eventually, I think the chosen title is the most appropriate!

Now I have to focus on getting a Mother's Day gift for my trip home to Canada next week. There are also toys to buy for nephews. I'll have to take a short 1/2 month break from drawing.

But I'll be back!

Amazing!! I LOVE old movies, and the stars of that era--these three must be among my all-time favorites!! Perfect likenesses--Lordy, all that smooth, shiney hair...the gorgeous detailing in everything (the upholstery makes my eyes water, not forgetting the dresses and the fur...AAACK!!). I just love the way Bogy is...ahem...stealing a peek down Marilyn's dress! What self-possessed man in that day WOULDN'T?! Gorgeous piece!
