Description I am creating plans primarily for use in RPGs, and so there is a certain amount if stylisation/simplification going on, chief among which is the mapping of the deckplan onto a grid to allow for ease of use with miniatures during a table-top game.  Hence in this example, all of the deck-plating is drawn to make it clear where the boundaries of a square are.

I've mentioned before being a fan of Colonial Chrome's work, and when I saw his excellent modular version of the KDY Spacemaster a thought immediately occured.  I like its style, but its a big ship, that hauls 19 thousand tons of cargo at not particularly fast speeds.  Not very handy for the average player group.

But what if you left out a couple of the central modules completely?  You'd drop the cargo capacity to around 7000 tons but still have the engines that were used to move almost 3 times that.  It potentially becomes a much faster and more maneuverable ship.  The average party of space-faring adventurers can have a cabin each and still have room for a workshop or medbay.

Canon for this vessel describes it as cramming cargo into every inch of spare space, so maybe the cabins should have been smaller.  Certainly compared to some of my other ships they seem huge, given that the crew have beds rather than bunk-beds, but my thinking is that the head height towards the outside of the saucer gets pretty low, so no space for 2 stacked bunks.
