Description As those who know me already know, I love making small stuff, books in the first place, but other stuff too.
Well, here’s something of that “other” stuff…meet Dream, made after “Sandman” comic main character. This is one of my favorite comics of all times, so…^-^
This Sandman is between 12 and 14mm high (hair strikes), with head around 2mm and eyes immeasurable by usual rulers (still manage to make them, with a tiny amount of dark material on the needle top).
It is made of plasticine (usually don’t work with that, but it was only modeling material left in my studio, so...). After shooting, moved straightly to the permanently sealed glass box.
During our photo session, one fly managed to buzz into my studio and I managed to take a picture of it near the figurine (bit blurry)…a good size comparing model, I think.
I’m especially proud on the human faces on his clothes.
I believe it is smallest Sandman figure on the world, so far Planning to make even smaller, but have to wait for special material for it. Until then, here’s this one.
Use full view to see details.
Hope you like it
...
This is basically a fanart…couldn't find the section for that in sculpture part, but this character belongs to Neil Gaiman and “Sandman” cartoonists, publishers, etc.

Lol...you know, in some old stories, deity of dreams is considered to be really tiny, so he could enter people's ears and sing a sort of lullaby.
But this was just for fun, of course

Aww, thank you so much
By the way, if you decide to try it out (trust me, it's not so hard, it's more about being careful) and need tip or two, note me, I'll do my best to help

Unbelievable detail for such a tiny figure!! It must take very steady hands and plenty of patience!

Amazing, especially given the size. Are you going to do the rest of the Endless next? Dream and Death are my two favourites.

Possibly, if I find the time…this is pretty busy time of the year, but definitely maybe Dream and Death are my favorites, also
And thank you so much
