Here comes something special, in many ways

My dear friends, I'm presenting you the shadows of your favorite fairy tales, all packed in a book no higher than 1cm ^^

It took me pretty much time to make this book, for various reasons, of which it being hard to make is not the smallest one. Still, it was a great enjoyment working on it, as you might imagine.

There's 29 fairy tales all in all (number I chose on purpose) and two decorative illustrations on the first and last page (castle and the dragon).

All here is made basically from the scratch: thread needed to be hand threaded and waxed (I found no such small to buy), pages had to be dyed in Earl Grey and special mixture of glues (to protect from ink coming on the other side), endpapers had to be dyed too, wrapping material for the covers is also a specially prepared paper, so it would resemble leather. Also, every "damage", scratch, cut or a stain on the covers or inside is actually carefully made, so the book would give the effect of frequent use and age. Not to mention that every illustration is also hand draw/inked, of course

I included titles the fairy tales above every image, even most of them don't really need some special introduction...most of us were sent to the dreamland with some of it, every night of our childhood I hope this will give you nice memories on those times

For me, this book represents two more things: first, the beginning of one project I'm planing for some time now, but that will be presented to you in next couple of days in my journal (keep an eye to it). Let's just say there will be a contest, but that it will also give you a chance to help someone, too

Second, for me, it's another small victory over my health...as some of you know, last month was bad and working on this, whenever I could afford it, kept me from going into dark thoughts. With every page finished, I would thought "Ok, I still got it, still can do it..." and it kept me pushing to do even more...you can see some of the images are a bit shaky and that's because those are the one done while under asthma attacks...I could have replace them, but didn't... those are the one I'm kinda most proud off

Photos are bit worse quality than usual, too, for the same reason...I had to do the whole photographing and making of the video in bed, so quality is far from usual quality. Sorry for that.
