The ghost moved through the forest like a whispy white snake, slithering through the trees with agility and intelligence, his target was more agile, but he had the brains and therefore the advantage. The moose had bleeding heels, and Oruz was the devil who had bit them. A merciless weapon of death is what he was, a monster dressed pretty. He liked it.

Soon the brown cervid had tired out, the blood loss was taking away it's conscience and the herbivore fell in the dirt, chirping and screaming in pain, a plea for mercy that would never be heard. The beast approached, looking into the amber eyes of his victim, it begged with it's gaze to live and it only fueled the serpent, it made him feel powerful, for he could choose the fate of the animal struggling beneath. And he chose death. Sinking his teeth in the jugular, immidiately ceasing the sounds of the agonizing moose. He could not help the smile glued to his mouth for the accomplishment. He took such joy in being the shepherd of death. All he did not know was; this would be his last hunt.
