Man I haven't drawn anything with like...DECENT lineart in a LONG while~
I've just been sketching and painting over a lot of my works~ Gets done faster that way but you
know, it's still real messy~
So I had a CRAP sketch on my CPU for like the longest time. So I decided to make the lineart for it and then let it
sit once again. I don't know why but I was just too friggen lazy to do anything with it~
But after some time, I finally decided to put down the base colour for this thing and
ba-BAM!! Here it is, so months later~
I have to say, I am a bit impressed about this piece~
My colouring has come a long way since I first started out drawing digitally, but of course I
still have more to learn (like drawing LEGIT backgrounds)
Well, this is my OC Giga, from my manga "Giga The Alchemist"

First off, this artwork is AMAZING!!! I absolutely love the proportion and effects! CRAP sketch? What the heck are you talking about? Lies! Also, the character design and expression add so much dynamism to this picture! This picture deserves WAAAAY more than four comments, I tell ya. Forgive me for being extremely terrible at describing exactly how awesome I think (and feel) this artwork is, but I'll try my best to write a half-decent critique!
VISION: The boy is clearly performing an alchemical move. Coupled with a dynamic pose and awesome green effects, I have a clear vision that he must be a real badass!
Originality: I feel like this piece is original because most other manga pictures I see look quite dead. However, this picture feels alive and has a soul of its own! That speaks miles of originality for me!
Technique: Again, this picture is pure awesomeness in visual form. I love the amazing soft shading, effects, and dynamic anime style.
Impact: In your gallery, this was definitely one of the pieces that stood out most to me due to the action pose and expression. I can feel an adrenaline rush coming on. I can almost envision the boy's right fist coming out and sending a an alchemical spell right at me! Oh noes!
All in all, have I said enough? I don't even know what to say now but...

Ooo nice :3 Loving that dynamic pose!
For the shading, I think maybe the contrast is just SLIGHTLY too extreme. I feel like that level of darkness (esp the shading in the middle of the yellow clothing) could be saved for the lil nooks and crannies, kinda like where that ribbon is.
I think also your lineart is too thin, everything kinda blends together and I think it might help to make it more noticeable? :3 I'm mostly referring to the hair and ears, I feel it could use some more definition.
It looks awesome and you have lovely coloring skills! Nice graphic design too~

Ahh, that's what it is.
I will be careful with the not adding too much
contrast next time and pay more attention to light
source, light and dark values where they are needed and unneeded~
