A story: she took her last breath in his arms, the rays of the sun warming her cold skin. The birds settled around her, their cries her funeral mourning. He held her, unwilling to accept her fate despite her lifeless and still form. The rays of the sun kissed his face, a familiar caress, and so he savored the moment, her in his arms and the sun’s comforting embrace.
Okay! Just my take on it. Beautiful work.

"Please, hold on for a bit longer. We're almost there."
He said as he held her in his arms, footsteps heavy on the grass. The sunset had already made its appearance, the birds had started to go back to their home, but he was still there, walking heavily as he silently prayed for her. He kept whispering "you're going to be okay", but deep inside, he knew that was a big lie. The wound on her stomach, pierced by a sharp arrow, was looking worse and worse as each second passed by, and she looked like she was in pain. A lot of pain. But he just kept on going, trying to keep the little light of hope left inside of him bright.
Until she whispered in a weak voice, hand reaching up to cup his cheek.
"Please, i- it's no use... I don't have much longer, I know it..."
When he had looked down, he saw the pain and sadness in her eyes. Her eyelids were heavy, ready to close. He bit his lips, holding her hand tight, telling her to keep up. But she was right. It was useless, and her eyes finally closed, her hand falling down right after the moment she let out her last words "Take care of yourself... "
She had left him. She had left him alone in this world.
Unable to hold back his emotions, he let drops of hot tears fall as his body slumped down, hands still cradling her softly in his hands. Her body still felt so warm, her lips still seemed so rosy, her beautiful face still looked so angelic, but she was no more. She is really no more, he repeated those words in his head as leaves fell down and the birds gathered around them, as if to grief her loss with him.

Sorry, as soon as I saw you said "Write me a story about these characters", my writer instinct just came to me XD. But still, this is truly a beautiful piece. I love the use of red and orange of the background. The characters' expressions really tell a lot about their emotions as well. A stunning piece indeed!
