I just love how she seems to "hug" the flowers as if wearing a scarf.

I do think her skin could use some more shading.

I usually manage to achieve smooth shading, but often my drawings lack in depth especially when I don't use reference photo. Well, I have to practice more!

It may also be the difference between graphite pencil and colored ones. I feel I can't get much depth either with colored pencils, while if I work in gray-scale only, I can use softer pencils on top of each other to reach a darker shade.

It's always good to practice though!

Definitely graphite pencil is much easier for me to work with. Agree, it's good to practice and also fun to try using different media from time to time
