This made my jaw drop with as soon as it loaded on my screen! The decision to make the moth stand out so much was a great one. The stars add such a lovely balance to the overall piece. Your sketches really are phenomenal

Somehow in my imagination the luna moth is a pin and shes doing magic to make it glow. She looks like she's concentrating, or lost in thought, or just emotionally somewhere else, like she's reliving memories. It's such a gorgeous piece with a really magical feel to it. I especially like the background; it's elegant yet its simplicity brings the focus back to the centerpoints of the piece. I also like how the lady is in an almost sensuous pose but in a very subtle way. I love the way her hair is messy, but it suits her and she still looks perfect. I also love the textures in the dress. I'm new to your works, but of what I've seen so far this is definitely my favorite piece. It destroys me that I can't buy it as a print, because if I could I definitely would.
