wow...that embroidery pattern is insane! I don't expect you to give away any secrets or anything, but I have to ask, how in the world did you make that pattern look so realistic?

Basically is what you see, you need the pattern already, the outline. With that as guide just draw the stitches, taking in mind the pic has to be big enough. Then block the transparency so you can add shading and light here and there, according to the base fabric. And the rest is what you see on the screencap. Set the blending mode to something else, in this case I used Linear Dodge, and used stroke effect.
