Hi kids! After too many hours sitting in my computer, I ended up with this guy. He's 's character, Hunter Flakland. I enjoyed it pretty much, and I was arguing with my sisters for not letting the computer in their hands. Hehe. He likes being sexy so I did him sexy (me thinks). Excellent piece, the hair is tremendous! As much work as I've done and as many tutorials and walkthroughs as I've read, I still can't do hair very well. Ir you have any secrets, please let me know.
On a critique, I don't like the texture applied to the skin of the chest. It's too defined, too deep. I understand why it's there, it's just too heavy.

Omg...so awesome *___* I love the texture on his skin @_@ It's like amazing how you color as well. Do you use a texture paper when painting on painter? Or is it some kinda brush? I love the purple shadow hinted on his face~~ it goes so well with the "pink-ish" tone.
and the crane and seagulls (wutever bird) is rendered well on his clothes. muuu~~ too awesome

I dun use texture nor special brushes, I do all the tiny lines by hand, one by one T_T . Yes, I have no life -_-

I do crosshatching like that, but in this case, the chest has bigger crosshatching (I mean, less worked ^^u) because big areas bore me, heh. Resolution and final image size also influence. I agree with adding more light to the clothes, would look better neh! And I loved doing the cranes
