"For you" XDToday is my little sister's birthday, and I thought this would be nice touch. She wanted me from one year ago to draw her together with Clavis from Angelique. She's as mad as I am ^^u
Wanted to go for a more painterful style neh! And I hope she doesn't beat me for doing somethis this cute =/
She's 13 now. ^^

The way I did the hair is not hard at all, you just need to paint a base, with lights and shadows, smooth it using your prefered tool such as the finger tool (smudge), and then go with a more detailed brush and add several individual strands. You can have as many layers of strands as you wish for different effects, I usually have three layers for three different values of strands: from darkest to lightest on the top. Hope that helped! ^^

Yes, Angelique is a manga. I think it was a game first, I don't know. There are some OVAs too, but they're kinda mushy

Absolutely gorgeous! The painting style is wonderful, love the coloures and his gorgeous face, but what really caught my attention is the way you painted the fabric of his robes, so realistic! I can almost reach out and feel the smoothness of the material... wow.

I really don't know who is Clavis... but I think that if someone so beautiful will never come to me with a present... well... hem... I think that your sister can be REALLY happy about this... 
His dress seems so real! You have made the exactly reflection on the texture (and I know that this means that you have done a lot of little lines, looking at each particoular with attention... Oh my God, youa are so patience and talented!). Really he is so beatuful and the expression of your sister is simply toooo nice! Really amazig picture!
