I gotta say, I always appreciated Mamoru, even in the old dub, because he's in such an interesting role in the series, being the only human guy in a group of female super heroes. It's gotta be hard on him! Plus he's smart and handsome and all that other stuff, so, yeah, over 25 here and still crushing on him a bit. (Who am I kidding. I want the tux messenger bag on circle red.com and I have a plushie of him, so maybe I still crush on him a lot!!)

My first crush, too. Showing my sister Sailor Moon now in 2013 and she told me she has a crush on him. I think it's mandatory when you're hitting puberty to fall in love with Mamoru. Of course, now, we know how useless he was for the majority of the series.

It was Mamoru for me too, but after learning how un-interested he was in Usagi and how pointless their whole relationship seemed, a few years passed and I fell for Yue in CCS. (adored his miserable pouty face) haha Ever consider drawing him at all? Definitely would suit your style. (sorry to butt-in on an old convo so to speak)

Sorry, I`ve never seen CCS, so I don`t know the character. I`m not much into shoujo (SM is just one of a few exceptions and I watched it in my childhood) as I usually prefer more hardcore stuff like seinen or yaoi

Lucky! They kept quite a few names the same (only spelled differently) but for the ones they did change, they changed them drastically.
Oh, and they made Zoisite a girl in the English dub...(because you know, heaven forbid they show a gay couple on t.v...)

See, that confuses me even more, lol! I live in Canada, but the English dubbing was done in the United States-and while there are definitely areas that are homophobic, the country in general is supposed to be tolerant.
