Description The 3D frame is from DigitalPhoto mag but the rest is all me ... well it was a fun play late last night

Hope you like.

If you go to do this I suggest using layer masks to remove the bits of the photos you don't need underneath - makes it easier and neater

I've made a tutorial of how to do this from scratch [link] ... give it a try ... it is fun

I can teach you something - okay - I actually didn't use the same steps as the magazine DVD instructions cause I've learnt some better ways - I'll work on it

Thanks, Mazy!

Just looking at it, it looks better than most tutes. All I really care about is the fading reflection part.

I'll try it out when I take another flower shot. Now I don't have to buy any ceramic tiles.

Since Summer is Winter, down there, do y'all have Summer vacations in the Winter?

Seriously, I can't imagine December being in the Summer and July being in the Winter. It boggles the mind . . .

mazmoore In reply to TTL-Photoworks [2009-07-09 08:24:44 +0000 UTC]

noooooooooo silly - it is just the 2 week holiday we have at this time of the year.

Schools in Awwwstralia generally operate on a 10 week term.

So we have 10 weeks - stop for Easter holidays (1 week)
have another 10 weeks - stop for this holiday (june/july)
have another 10 weeks - stop for the 2 week september holidays
have another 10 weeks - stop for 6 weeks summer holidays (although for us staff people it is only 5 weeks).

And as a teacher aide I work extra hours every working week (about an extra 5 for me) and I then get paid for ALL the holidays
(the hubby gets very jealous )

and I have the same issue with you having summer in July - weird
