Description Mixed media collage 16"X12" Acrylic paint and paper on art board.
Was originally a painting called Run [link] which was my first attempt at painting David Tennant as The Doctor. I painted him but made no attempt at a background. I was feeling rather scissor happy yesterday so cut it up and made a collage with it. Collage is fun I cut up some of my precious Doctor Who magazines and some old Radio Times's for the background then painted over them. Anyway, this is what i ended up with...don't know what i'll do with it now though!

It certainly does. If you ever feel like revisiting the theme my advice would be to overload the thing to the max. Old photos, historical documents, aliens, spacecraft, star charts, blurry pics of nothing in particular, headlines from every era etc. I imagine the Doctor's head is full of it all, lol

Thank you, great ideas...i may just do that sometime! Would be really fun to do the drawings etc I loved that book he had when he was John Smith with all the drawings in.

I expect you could find some screencaps of that somewhere. It really was a wonderful piece of work and great to watch too when it came up on screen with all its continuity goodness
