Description I started this with a doodle like sketch. As it became a "real drawing" and i turned it into this surreal landscape with the skull like rocks. I associated it with standing on the edge of the land where fear houses in all of us. I mean the fears of every day life and not like a terror movie or whatever.
Fears about death, pain or losing someone you love... those kind of things. This can turn into a monster and take control of your life without noticing it. But one day your body will tell though.

As i try to explore myself and get closer to my innerself i could imagine me standing on the edge before entering this world and see where these fears come from and which are really needed and which not...

An absolute amazing structural abstract! This place I imagine would seat the throne of fear like you mentioned. Also, isn't it interesting how 'sketches' often morph into true drawings, especially with subconscious exploration? Surreal imagery I find often reveals the things we're consciously blind to. Fantastic talent and end product.

Interesting when a doodle evolves into so much more. You did a nice job with the visual metaphor.

I think this was the perfect way to express your concept. I like how it seems that even one step can lead to a fall in the great unknown; and speaking from an aesthetic perspective, the details, color scheme, and different textures make this a sight to behold.

Oh wow, this is incredible. This actually caught my attention because from far away, it looked like a destruction of a city... As I look at this closely, I can imagine it being a place of refuge (just the top half with all the ridges and crevices lol) or maybe even used for a film's backdrop (mythical, fantasy, that type of thing)... I love the arrangement and the detail... but it's not just about the detail, it's the consistency of shading, toning, pattern of lines to look into. Well done.

oh you're welcome. I think it's important to get feedback from those who choose to favorite a work of art. I want to let the artist know that their work is not only being watched but interpreted in many different ways that maybe no one else has mentioned previously. hehe
