YUP! its brilliant! congratz on the shiny spinarak btw! what a good catch! no joke ive played the series my whole life and sooooooo rarely have i ever gotten a shiny. i found a shiny sentret in silver before i even had pokeballs... that was a real kick in the nads. and i think i got a shiny zubat once. The past 23 playthroughs i have come across zero shiny's. ZERO!... my friend has better luck with shiny's. Ive also never had the motivation to soft reset to try to get a shiny starter. I tried for days once to get a shiny charmander and then gave up. Lol.
