My poor darling has been so terribly neglected. Here is her new reference!

Kedrik is one of my moji species, specifically one that has evolved to to fit the niche of bats. Kedrik's clan lives by the ocean and subsists mainly on fish and other seafood. Kedrik is one of my characters that is specifically coded as autistic. Her clan was very close minded and bigoted and her father, who had always wanted a son, was ashamed of her. After an incident involving Kedrik and the clan leader's son being injured, Kedrik was exiled amid a storm, essentially a death sentence, sent to fly out over the ocean and never return. Kedrik flew as far as she could but eventually succumbed to exhaustion. A piece of driftwood saved her from drowning and in her bleary vision, she made out a glow in the water, which turned out to be Schren, a kindly ocean dwelling (though a little spooky looking) moji. Guiding Kedrik to a new land and a new life, Kedrik is now happily among people and friends who understand and support her. Despite her rough start, she bears no ill will towards her clan and wishes them the best. Kedrik is bubbly, energetic, compassionate, and a wee bit obnoxious at times (I mean look at her color scheme, it's as in-your-face as her personality.) She doesn't always have a filter with what she says, but she says a lot of stuff for shock value too. She's a lot like me when I was a kid (besides the exiling and shitty parents part) and is super important to me.
