Bret "Hitman" Hart. The best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be.Former WWF Champion and Canadian national hero Bret Hart was an idol of mine when I was a lad. He still is. The epitome of integrity, inner strength and standing up for what you believe in, he dominated the World Wrestling Federation in the early 1990s with his patented Sharpshooter finishing hold. Depicted here with that very move locked in on "The Narcissist" Lex Luger, everything this man did looked great and was great. Even when he shocked fans worldwide by turning heel in 1996 and took part in an anti-America, pro-Canada and Europe angle with the reformed Hart Foundation, he still had legions of dedicated fans who respected his incomparable work ethic and near-unmatchable technical skill. Long live the Hitman.
This took me ages. I think it's one of the best drawings I've ever done. Comments would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

Oh man. This must have been hard to draw. I'm currently doing a Sharpshooter drawing myself with a custom character pulling it off.

That's really lifelike. I like how it overall looks, the intensity on his face, the clothes, EVERYTHING!
It's a real shame the WWF bastards did that Montreal Screwjob to him. He didn't deserve that, even though he should have just lost the match to Micheals like they told him to.

Excellence of Execution indeed. That is a heck of an image. I particularly like Bret's right kneepad (I've never gotten one of those to look right myself), the vein on the victim's left forearm and Bret's hair as well as the way you've gotten the positioning and contact between the two down so well (another thing I've had trouble with, that). Is that Tatanka he's applying the Sharpshooter to?

This is an amazing drawing, Gregg. You even added the nipple! Infact the shading around that area is also very well done.
I would of liked to see the Sharpshooter on HBK more to be honest though
