Description After like 5 billion years, I upload something drawn lol. Now gather round ladies, it's freakin' story time!!!! Part of 's timeline: Skyrim Legacy

Notes:
- The Dragon Sage is Arleo when he's older

______________

"It's been a year, and it seems just like yesterday we lost him..." Poet whispered in a forlorn tone, standing near a memorial statue. Poet had grown up to be a fine young woman, but not even the maturity that adulthood brings, prepared her for losing the man she loved dearly as a father, even if she did lose him long ago. Skyrim has seen many months since Miraak passed, and it left a void in the group. A void not felt since the passing of Lydia decades ago. She seizes a few moments for herself, reflecting on the good times she had by the First's side, but someone had interrupted Poet in her reflection.

It was her husband Areum, who was cradling their son, who was barely a few months old.

"Am I interrupting?" Areum asked

Poet smiled and said "No you aren't, love. What do you need?"

"Oh me? Nothing, but little Arleo wants to see his mama." Areum said moving in closer to Poet and handing their baby boy to her.

"Hi Arleo." Poet said as she kissed him on his forehead. Arleo reach towards Poet's cheek, which was dampened by teardrops. The baby let out sound, as if he was distressed about something. As if he understood his mother's sadness.

Poet wiped the tear off of her face and said "Sometimes mama gets sad, Arleo. She's always caught up in old memories and she tends to miss a special friend of hers. Someday soon little one, you'll understand."

Areum put his arm around his wife "I know you miss him, we all do. But you have to let him go. However, Vahl has summoned you, if you have the heart to answer it." Poet complied, handing Arleo over to his father. Up in High Hrothgar, Poet walked up to where Vahl was seated and kneeled before her.

"My lady, you summoned me?" Poet said in a submissive tone. Vahl smiled and walked down to Poet and helped her to her feet

"You don't need to kneel before me, Poet." The Sage said "Now to business: the reason I summoned you."

"What is it?" Poet questioned, eager to find out the reason

Vahl smirked and said "Do you remember the portal to Sovngarde at the old castle? I want you to descend the portal, tell Nahkriin you have my permission."

Poet was confused, the portal was off limits to everyone for the past decade, but she wasn't about to argue Vahl's order. She bowed to Vahl and made her way to the old castle. There she met Dragon Sage Nahkriin: Guardian of the Portal. The Sage jumped down from his perch and confronted Poet.

"Dii Reg Poet, fahvos los hi het? Hi mindok Vahl nilaad rahnd wah miiraak wah Sovngarde." The Sage uttered in the Dragon tongue, the preferred language of the Sages. But Poet just stood there confused, because she didn't know Dovahzul. Nahkriin gave out a hearty chuckle.

"Ah forgive me, I forgot you aren't well versed in our tongue. But why are you here Lady Poet? You know that Lady Vahl has declared access to the portal forbidden. Close friend of hers or not, I can't allow you to pass."

"She's given me her official permission to enter Sovngarde, as to why, I do not know." Poet said, and so the Sage bid her access to the portal. When Poet passed between dimensions and she stood there in amazement at Sovngarde. "Wow... It really is a country drenched in starlight."

Poet walked to the Whalebone bridge guarded by Tsun, God of Trials, who spoke to her rather than giving her the test he gives all who enter Sovngarde. "You must be Poet. An old friend in the Hall of Valor has requested your company, and so it shall be. I bid thee access to Shor's blessed halls for a time, but I pray thou doesn't over stay thine welcome."

The great doors leading into the Hall of Valor opened, revealing a huge feasting hall. Poet looked around as heroes from throughout the ages shared food, drink, songs and stories with one another. She saw Lydia who didn't give much of a word, rather a nod and a smile before disappearing into the crowd, she saw Lil' Vent and Cameron roaming around the hall, until she saw a nearly familiar face sitting at a table, drinking and feasting eternity away. The spirit looked towards Poet and was happier than ever.

"My dear Poet! It's good to see you. Many days and nights I have wondered if Vahl would acknowledge my request to have you sent here." The man said

"Miraak?" Poet said as she ran up to him and embraced him "Your face... your eyes? What happened to you?" Miraak's face was no longer scarred and burnt and his eyes were restored to their original blue color. But it didn't matter to Poet, the two caught up for a good few hours telling each other stories. Until Miraak asked about his family.

"How's my boy, Seldtis, been? And my dear, dear Serana?"

"Serana's healing. We all are, but your son... Everyday it's 'Where's papa?' and 'When is papa coming home?'"

Miraak let out a sigh "Someday soon, he will know the truth. When he reaches the age of 18, show him the portal and I would speak with him. But what about yourself? How have you and Areum been?"

Poet smiled a bit "We've been fine, thanks for asking. We've had a son just a few months ago, so you're a grandfather of sorts."

"Regrettably, he won't know much of me other than stories and legends. Neither will my own son." Miraak lamented "But enough of that, tell me Poet. What is your son's name?"

"Areum and I were talking about that for a good week after he was born. We thought Gaelan would be a good name, we eventually decided on 'Arleo'." Poet said

"A fine name haha. Your boy will be strong and smart just like his father and mother." Miraak said, but Poet wasn't finished

"We also gave him a second name, something to remember you by."

This piqued the First's interests who murmured an "Oh? What is it then?"

"Vahlok. Like that friend of yours you talked so much about." Poet said an a hushed voice "Well I don't want to overstay my welcome, Miraak. It's been great talking to you again."

"It's been great talking to you as well." Miraak said as Poet walked back to the portal back to Nirn. As Miraak went back to his drink, he heard a voice.

"Haha, she reminds me of the girl that used to visit the temple. Eh Fenrik?" Vahlok said as he sat next to Miraak and helped himself to what was on the table.

Miraak laughed as his mind was drowned with waves of nostalgia "I was thinking the same."
