Description "Mary Shelley's Creation" 20x30 Airbrush and colored pencil on hot press illustration board. The painting is a depiction of a sculpture licensed by Quarantine Studios. The image is an interpretation of Frankenstein's creature from the novel, but is not related at all to Boris Karloff, or the Universal Studios interpretation.

There are obviously many things to appreciate about your piece, but forefront in my mind is the perspective of the piece. Great job.

You know in the book there is acually no mention of eletricity used to bring the creature to life? Just put him together and whalla! Awesome work!

Yes, the book is a lot different than what most people would expect. Their idea of Frankenstein's monster is Boris Karloff. And the book is a tough read, too. Most people wouldn't even finish it.

Yes, it is quite tragic but I managed to finish it.

whoa dude this is great i think you should continue with the rest of the classic universal monsters i mean you capture the creepiness and eeriness of it all this pic is absolutely perfect i love the classic horror films and the books they are based off of and there is nothing that captures the terrifying wonder they held
