The Holy Grail.

This specific 250 GTO is the third of the thirty-six models made. It had a successful racing history, from winning in the 1962 Italian GT Championship, to winning its class (5th overall) in the 1964 Targa Florio race. To prepare for the race, this model received an upgrade to its body, going to the Series II GTO/64. Everything in the car is original and has serial numbers to verify it (i.e. engine, transmission). It was sold at RM Sotheby's (public auction) on 25 August 2018 for a record-breaking $48.4 million.

On a personal note, I couldn't believe that I got to see this car in person. I never thought that day would come, and I am forever grateful that I got the chance to see it.
