Whenever anyone tells me they can't take good photos because they don't have expensive gear, I show them images like this. Taken with a 15 year old DSLR and a lens that can be found for less than $100. Gear helps, but it's not everything. A lovely sunset image taken over the weekend at Second Beach in RI. Just as an appreciation for everyone's support, I'm gonna make the full size file of this image available for download. It was taken with a 10 Megapixel DSLR, so even if you do print it, you won't be able to go super big, but big enough.
