Description March 12th 2024 after Sunset - Did you know that since there are about 30 days in a lunar month, and 24H per Earth Spin, the moon sets an average 0.8 hour or 48 minutes earlier each day, conversely the moon rises 48 minutes later than the day before (on average over a Year ) . So, on The New Moon of March 10th we had a near solar eclipse, the shadow of the moon sliced through space but didn't scratch Earth contrary to the shadow of the new moon of April 8th which will slice across North America. So if you watch the sunsets, on the 10th the moon was not visible because too close to the sun, but today 2 days later it has moved away from the sun about 24 degrees of 360 degrees
