I decided to draw a companion piece to the Captain Marvel image I posted a few minutes ago. I know Moonstone isn't considered Cap's arch-enemy or anything like that, but they have crossed paths a few times over the years (mainly when Moonstone was pretending to be Ms. Marvel during the "Dark Reign" era), and I feel like they would make excellent ongoing rivals. Who doesn't want to watch two beautiful blondes with similar powers mix it up on a regular basis?? In fact, I'd go so far as to say Moonstone should be a villain in a Captain Marvel sequel!

This is my favorite costume for Moonstone. Her original villain outfit never really appealed to me, and most of her Thunderbolts costumes have been too busy (and brown, which I don't love). But this yellow-and-white number looks great! I've seen it drawn a few different ways over the years -- sometimes the circle at her navel looks like part of the fabric and other times it's three-dimensional. Sometimes the white parts look like plain white fabric, but other times they appear to be metallic and shiny. I went for the latter in both those cases, and I also gave her high heels. I don't know that she was ever shown with heels in this specific costume, but early in Thunderbolts she wore spikes, and I think they fit her character to a tee (plus she flies everywhere and tends to hover even when she's not airborne, so she doesn't need to worry about running in heels).

The "Moonstone" logo is my own design, by the way. I don't think an official one exists.
