Oh yeah! I think it was the first Marvel comic I ever read. It was part of a little pocketbook collection. Firelord was always a special for me because of that, also bc he also was in the second marvel comic I ever had- the one where he battles Spider-Man.

For sure. It's always so random. In my home country, X-Men were collected in little pocket books. It was mostly Byrne era, it was mind blowing for an impressionable kid.
I ended up using a version of Firelord in my own first crude comics haha

Germany (though i've been living in the US since th early 2000s)
Nowadays they publish more similar to the US originals.
Back then they were not super-faithful, but that's the best we had!

Cool! It seems that a lot of overseas reprints were done in different formats than the standard monthly comic we have here. I just find it very interesting.
