Full Name: Emma Walterslavik
Age / Grade: 18/12th grade
A short description of their personality: At first, Emma can seem a little stand-offish and shy. But once you get to know her, she's a pretty genuinely nice person. She wants to say she's a very out-spoken girl, but most of the time that isn't the case. Often times she'll keep an opinion to herself, unless it was about something she felt very strongly about. She doesn't get irritated easily, however eventually things will get to the best of her. And when they do, she'll get quiet and shut down for a while, often accidentally hurting other people's feelings. She's very emotional, and tries to keep her emotions hidden(but isn't very good at it). Usually, she doesn't think she's good enough if anyone wants to help her though, so if she's having a rough day; she'll just wave you off saying she's fine and go off on her own to be sad alone. Alternatively, she's always there for a friend if they need a shoulder to cry on.
Short biography: Emma was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland with her mother and father. Thing's were pretty well with them, she had no complaints. When she was 9, her father picked up and left with no explanation. This sort of sent her mother into a downward spiral. The drinking started and Emma was her mother's personal punching bag. Due to this, she would leave the house a lot and hang around on the streets with her few friends from similar homes. She grew up with these friends and got into a lot of trouble with them, but she loved it. Eventually her mother sobered up when she was 17, and they picked up and moved away.
Positive things about them: Always there as a shoulder to cry on, is an optimist for the most part, can function under a lot of pressure
Negative things about them: Can be over-emotional, blames herself/is hard on herself a lot, she screws up a lot, worries too much, insecure about scars on her back
Special interests: Writing poetry, and ice skating (not figure skating, she just enjoys skating around rinks), exercising
