What caught me first about this photo is the cinematic quality it has. Maybe it's the composition; maybe it's the color treament; or maybe it's because the model has a very purposeful expression, as if a character in a story.
And I do love the color in this photo. Well-balanced, and not over-saturated. In fact, it looks to have been characteristically desaturated, which I think works for this photo. The model's outfit and skin tone are a perfect complement to the scenery, too.
The blown-out highlights on the field in the background, normally undesirable in a photo, actually add to what I feel is the "look" of this work.
Normally I open with a compliment and then get picky in my critiques. Maybe I'm just in a good mood, but I can't think of any significant way to improve this photo. One thing that came to mind is purely a creative idea and not so much criticism: perhaps a wider aspect (i.e 1.85:1) would have been a better idea for this photo, purely due to that "cinematic" feel I mentioned. That said, it would have to be re-shot to achieve this, as this shot is very well-composed for 3:2 and couldn't be cropped without compromising that.
Overall, very good piece.

Man nehme starkes Sonnenlicht, einen Reflektor mit der Silberseite, halte ihn im richtigen Winkel in die Sonne. Fertig
Hatte bei dem Shooting den großen Akku noch nicht. ^^

I can agree with the Critique expressed and see the beauty of the shot in and of itself. In fact ive come to like the shot more BECAUSE of the critique. But I would have loved to see a smile or something that deepens the character of the model. As I dont know what you wanted to achieve, i may be completely off in my comment, but im all about connection and feeling 'In' the photo. Do you have another picture from this series with some fun dynamic?

Das gefällt mir von den letzteren Fashionfotos am Besten, da hier die Belichtung schön ausgewogen ist und der Bildaufbau klasse gewählt ist.

I really like how these portraits are in natural settings. I personally prefer these kinds of portraits as opposed to the ones in studios. Nicely done

sehr schön.. hintergrund ist ruig und ausgeglichen und wirkt dadurch prima auf dein model. bildschnitt und die geringe schärfe passt super zusammen. die pose sieht natürlichaus.

haa ich hätt gerne mal ne linse die ne 2,8 schafft
hängt hier ganz schön am geld :- (
hab hier ne ganze alte 1,7 linse aber die und mein crop faktor mögen sich auch net wirklich
aber ich denke du bist da mit 5,0 schon gut bei dem bild
ich denke mehr wäre doof.. denn verschwindet dein model inner unschärfe zu teil oder der hintergrund ist
garnicht mehr zu erkennen .. ik find dad jut so : )

Naja.. Im Telebereich jedenfalls. nen standard 2.8er ist noch einigermaßen erchwinglich.. und die 50er in 1.8 oder 1.4 sind auch meist nicht sooo teuer..
Naja.. kommt ganz drauf an.. bokeh wird halt um so vieles schöner!!

naja hab gerade nen 1,4 in blickfang das kostet aber auch seine
400 euro.. in 3 wochen bin ich in ny.. ich hoffe ich werd da was schönes finden
1,2 wäre nen traum..
stimmt wenn das bokeh dann echt nurnoch auch kleinesn blendenpünktchen besteht
hat das auch wieder sein reitz : ))
such mal nach lensbaby.. aber ich denke du kennst das.. is ne lustige spielerei
und man kann duch kleine dinger.. em "einsätze" das bokeh so beinflussen
das es sternchen oder herzform hat

Ja, Lensbaby kenn ich. Das Tilt / Shift für den kleinen Geldbeutel.. Aber kannste oftmals auch nen dicken whiskeytumbler boden nehmen..

ich merk schon man sollte mal um die ecke denken
hab darüber heute mit einem prof aus meiner uni
geredet und der meinte für ein super weiches bild
spannt man am besten ne ganz feine strumpfhose über die linse o.O
kennst du noch mehr solche sachen ??
ich finde sowas sollte man sammeln testen try and error ..
em ich fotografiere digital auf nikon und analog auf rollei ( kleinbild )
meine infrarotbilder sind mit ner von mir umgebauten nikon d40 gemacht
die dabei fast ihr leben verloren hat
und bei dir ? ich schätze mal ne canon 5d ? sieht so aus aufm bild

Hmm ja, bin digital auf Canon unterwegs und analog nutzte ich nur hin und wieder mal die uralte om-1 vom vadder. muss ich mir mal ne eigene zulegen..
oha. 5D (mk II) wär schon was. aber nee, bis ich mir die leisten kann... Bin mit der 40D + BG unterwegs.
