Description And finally. A phot of Tour Eiffel.. Received questions if i was going to upload one. So here is it.

Perspective Distortion caused by Ultrawideangle. Tour Eiffel is standing it.
Tried a version of corrected perspective, but that doesn't really take effect.

So you might enjoy it this way.

Brilliant perspective mate, the view between the two large, historic? buildings really works well in this, gives it a great sense of depth!
If I'm being really picky, I would possibly say that the perspective on the tower, and horizon is ever so slightly off, to the right... Maybe it's just me, but it does seem to have a very minor slope to the right, and not sitting completely straight, and balanced.
Apart from that though, I really love this one.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

MCG0603 In reply to FlippinPhil [2009-05-25 22:12:39 +0000 UTC]

Yes, they are historic ones! Some old museums.
Not sure about the rotation. I think most of this effect is produced by perspective distortion on the left. I wasn't standing 100% at the center so the left one looks bigger than the one at the right. Try to blend away the left one. Then it even seems to rotate into the other direction.
Might be an optical illusion. However, not sure
Thanks you very much!! Your critique is really appreciated!

Nice photo!
Never came to my mind to make a photo like this when I walked there a few weeks ago >_<

I think the distorted perspective works really well in this shot. It leads your eye into the photo

I think it would be better with the normal colors though

I quite like the perspective like this, draws the eye to the centre of the photograph. You were lucky to get Trocadero this empty, doesn't happen often!

I was gonna critique this, but I wouldn't know what to say, to my eye there's nothing wrong with it. Some people aren't fans of wide angle distortion but it works well here, this is just gorgeous. Well done!
