If I'm not mistaken it was a mod for Battlefield 1942. Can't remember if it was ever finished though.

Actually this is the Battlefield 2 version, the original Forgotten Hope was for Battlefield 1942 and saw a final release in version 0.7. As for FH2, it has a public release available, and it is still being developed by the mod team.

Now THAT is a kick ass picture. How did you make it, photoshop or not, my art teacher says there like a free color wheel program that Deviantart users use, please tell me the name or is it Iphoto or photobucket

Ah yes, the Thompson M1918A1, a true favorite of mine.

The later model, the M1A1, would've been fine, if for the fact they got rid of the 50 round drum.

It looks good.

No one in the field liked the Drum mags. They took forever to load, broke down alot because of the complexity, they were heavy, and they rattled loudly when not completely full.
The stick mags where much better.

he uses a thompson m1a1, which is the later war version. Key differences are simpler sights, horizontal foregrip, no drum magazine, and the bolt handle moved from the top to the right side of the weapon.

this'un is the model used by gangsters in the '30s (and early ww2), aka, tommy-gun, or chicago-typewriter.
